Francois Lamarche, Grande Rue Vintage:2020 The palate is extremely well other_regions_australia The palate is extremely well balanced with fine acidity effortlessly slicing a swathe through that unctuous The racy and intense middle weight flavors possess evident muscle and minerality before concluding in a nicely complex if mildly warm and drying finish A lightly menthol infused nose that is exceptionally ripe yet stops short of being surmature remains almost 100% primary with ample black fruit and spice aromas seamlessly merging into the rich I really like the amount of dry extract here as it relegates the still firm tannins to the background and this should age effortlessly for years to come
